As a pilot, Parker Woodruff is passionate about all things aviation. Over the past decade, his aviation insurance agency has flourished, and it was time his brand accurately reflected his professionalism and exceptional customer service. Since the company is named after an airspeed indicator, that was my jumping off point for the design. The “A” is symbolic of both an airplane wing and an airspeed indicator, and the condensed font is reminiscent of lettering found on plane tails. All of these elements combine to form a clean, masculine brand that caters to a predominately male clientele.
